Most South Hills students complete a 12-week* long internship before graduation, working alongside seasoned professionals in the “real world” environment of their chosen fields. The South Hills internship provides irreplaceable experience and knowledge, along with valuable networking connections. Often, internships even lead to immediate, full-time job offers. Network Career Fair

Every spring, South Hills holds the Career Fair exclusively for our students to give them a chance to connect with dozens of local employers as the students seek the internships they need to graduate. As they distribute their resumes at this huge event, our students get a unique opportunity to network with potential employers. All currently enrolled South Hills students are welcome to attend the Career Fair.

*Twelve weeks is the average length of time it takes for students to complete internships for most of the programs at South Hills. Diagnostic Medical Sonography students will complete a longer internship. Each South Hills student is assigned an advisor who will provide more specific information about that student's internship requirements.

*Some programs do not require an internship for graduation.
